love.....what is it?

what is love? is it a feeling, or an instinct? do humans feel attracted to each other because they have genuinely controlled feelings for one another?or is it simply instincts that keep us glued to each other? does one human actually want another, or is it just another hormone? can a human consciously think about another person as a lover without feeling horrible, or is it inevitable that we all must part in the end? is love even predictable in these senses? can one actually think of it such a confined sense? or is it so random and subjective that it never stays the same for long enough? i wonde
